It’s hard to believe KidsQuest Children’s Museum has only been part of our lives since December 2005! An immediate hit with all of its visitors, the museum doubled attendance projections set for the first year in only eight months. With colorful, interactive exhibits (with names like The Backyard, The Garage and Treehouse), it’s easy to see why KidsQuest has piqued the interest of all little explorers.
The youngest museum-goers love to exploreThe Backyard. Designed just for them, it offers an enclosed haven for babies, toddlers and preschoolers with larger-than-life birdhouses full of sensory & tactile objects. Children of all ages love the Waterways exhibit where Little One can pump, splash, and create music with water. (Smocks provided!) The Garage is always bustling with kids climbing on the truck cab, tinkering with tools, and banging on the drums. Your little monkey will just love climbing up the huge indoor Treehouse where they can spy on their friends below with the telescope and discover hidden animals. The newest exhibit, called KidsCount, teaches children about the importance of voting! KidsQuest gives back to the community by offering scholarships for memberships & camps, free admission to the public on Friday nights from 5-8pm, and sponsoring a Back To School Food Drive.
P.S. KidsQuest knows how to party…er, birthday party, that is. Party packages include use of the private party room, downloadable invitations, balloons, a commemorative certificate with photo, and a guided interactive activity of your choice led by a KidsQuest staff member.
